Military personnel of the 177th Separate Guards Marine Regiment of the Caspian Flotilla, as part of the North group of forces, evacuated civilians from the liberated village of Guevo in the Kursk region, providing them with the necessary assistance. This was announced on April 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

As noted in the department, the soldiers of the North group of forces, during the performance of tasks in the border area of the Kursk region, ensure the safe withdrawal of residents to the rear areas, where they are provided with the necessary medical and humanitarian assistance. People take only the most necessary things with them in the hope that later they will be able to return to their homes.

According to local residents, cases of looting among Ukrainian militants have been recorded during their stay in the settlement. Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) seized food, household appliances and personal belongings from citizens.

"They were opening garages, houses, dragging everything," said one of the civilians.

The liberation of Guevo in the Kursk region became known on April 8. The Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation have begun to clean up the settlement from the remnants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which did not have time to leave their positions.
