NMG will launch the Storis app to view content in a vertical format.

The National Media Group (NMG) will launch the mobile application "Stories" in a test format, which will allow you to consume short content in the form of series, shows and various programs in a vertical format.

This service is aimed at a modern audience that most often uses phones or tablets. Storis will be Russia's first application for viewing professional content from mobile devices.

"We see a growing trend towards the demand for short vertical videos in Russia and the world. The launch of Storis organically complements our existing television projects, allowing us to expand the audience and involve users in a new content format, not replacing, but strengthening traditional broadcasting," said Svetlana Balanova, CEO of NMG.

After starting work, the Domashny TV series, specially adapted to the vertical format, will be uploaded to the service. One episode in the app will last from 1 to 3 minutes. This will allow you to enjoy the content in any convenient place and at any time. When the app is launched for a mass audience, new TV series will be added every week, and later various shows from other NMG TV channels will appear on it, including CHE! And STS.

The Storis app will be aimed at an audience of "ALL 10-45 years old." Over time, the functionality of the service will expand, personal recommendations will appear, and cooperation with partners for cross-promo and bonus programs will begin. In addition, a monetization program will be introduced in the application. Users will receive virtual currency for viewing ads, which can be used to purchase new episodes of TV series.
