The Chinese Embassy informed about the delegation's participation in SPIEF-2025

The Chinese delegation at the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be represented at a high level, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation Zhang Wei told Izvestia.

"Also, the issue of participation in SPIEF is being worked out now. There will be a high-ranking official, but it is not yet known who will lead the delegation. We attach great importance to this forum, so there will be a solid delegation from the Chinese side. A large delegation is also expected for May 9. There will be several high-level escorts, official officials," the diplomat said.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will come to Moscow not only to celebrate May 9, but also to pay a full-fledged state visit.

Experts believe that the upcoming meetings will allow to activate the work of Russia and China on the project "Power of Siberia - 2".
