On April 8, American leader Donald Trump called Alexander Ovechkin, the forward of the Washington Capitals hockey club, who broke Wayne Gretzky's record for goals in the regular seasons of the National Hockey League (NHL), a great man.
"A great man just broke Wayne Gretzky's record. The great one is Wayne Gretzky, but we have another great one, right? I just broke a record, it was great," said the US president.
