On April 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen committed in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

The ministry noted the actions of Junior Sergeant Alexander Fedosov, who, commanding the tank crew, carried out combat missions to support assault units of Russian troops while conducting offensive operations in one of the tactical areas.

In the course of completing the task, Fedosov discovered a camouflaged enemy stronghold with firing points. The junior sergeant got his bearings on the ground, and thanks to his competent actions, the tank crew managed to destroy the points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This contributed to the promotion of Russian units and consolidation in new positions.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry drew attention to the actions of Private Kamol Sharipov, who worked as part of an assault unit and carried out a combat mission to take control of positions held by the enemy in an important offensive area of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The Ukrainian militants, unwilling to retreat, resisted and actively attacked Russian units, including using FPV drones. At night, Sharipov's group invisibly bypassed the Ukrainian stronghold from the flank and broke into their positions. The private was among the first to join the battle and destroyed part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After clearing the point, the Russian military organized a line of defense and gained a foothold at the point.

Thanks to Sharipov's successful actions, it was possible to complete the task without losses among the personnel and hold positions until the arrival of the main forces, which contributed to the development of the offensive of Russian troops in this sector.
