A civilian received shrapnel wounds on a highway in the Belgorod region.


In the Yakovlevsky district of the Belgorod region, on the Tomarovka –Rakitnoye highway section, a civilian received multiple shrapnel wounds. This was announced on April 8 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"An ambulance crew delivered a man with multiple shrapnel wounds to his face and neck in a moderate condition to a regional clinical hospital. All necessary assistance is provided. A passenger car was damaged," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Gladkov, operational services are working on the spot. At the same time, the head of the region did not specify the circumstances of the injuries.
On this day, Gladkov reported that two civilians were injured in a car attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It was clarified that the man received a traumatic amputation of his right arm at shoulder level, the woman was wounded in the chest, left thigh and abdominal cavity.
