All the Gagarin Cup quarterfinalists have been determined in the KHL

Ufa's Salavat Yulaev defeated Siberia in the seventh match of the first round of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) playoffs and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Gagarin Cup. The match took place on April 8 and ended with a score of 2:1.

Spartak will be the Ufa club's quarterfinal opponent.

Following the results of the match "Salavat Yulaev" – "Siberia", all the quarterfinalists of the Gagarin Cup became known, they became "Lokomotiv", "Avangard", "Salavat Yulaev", "Spartak", "Traktor", "Dinamo Minsk", "Ak Bars" and Dynamo Moscow.

The Railwaymen are going to the second round, and the fight continues in the remaining KHL playoff pairs.

On April 7, Ak Bars beat Avtomobilist and reached the quarterfinals of the Gagarin Cup. Ilya Safonov (16th minute) and Kirill Semenov (84th minute) scored for the Kazan club. Alexander Sharov scored a goal for the Yekaterinburg team (9th).
