The Central Bank of Russia will issue commemorative coins for the anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was announced on April 8 on the regulator's website.

"On April 9, 2025, the Bank of Russia will issue commemorative coins of the Jubilee of the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945," the message says.

It is specified that the circulation of the three-ruble silver coin with the logo of the 80th anniversary of Victory celebration will amount to 3 thousand copies. The circulation of a 50—ruble gold coin with the same image is 1,000 copies.

In addition, the Central Bank will issue gold coins with a face value of 10 thousand rubles with the image of Soviet soldiers throwing enemy banners. As well as silver coins with a face value of 100 rubles with the image of Soviet soldiers hoisting the flag over the Reichstag.

On April 4, it became known that on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Victory Music project will be launched. His main task is to preserve the memory of the heroic deeds of Soviet soldiers and the Great Victory through his musical legacy. The project will also help unite different generations of Russian residents.

It was noted that the famous war songs will acquire a new sound, without losing their depth and historical value. Polina Gagarina, SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov), Tatiana Kurtukova, Oleg Gazmanov and other performers will take part in the recording of the compositions.
