The body of a man who fell through the ice of the Ussuri River in late March was found in the Kirovsky district of Primorsky Krai. The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported this in its Telegram channel on Tuesday, April 8.

"The body of the deceased was discovered about 150 m from the sinkhole site downstream and was handed over to police officers," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the PrimaMedia news agency, the tragedy occurred on March 28 on the Ussuri River near the village of Gorny Klyuchi. About 30 m from the shore, two men fell through the ice of the river. The search for the second victim is still ongoing.
