A pensioner died in a fire in a private house in Krasnoyarsk.

In Krasnoyarsk, an elderly woman died as a result of a fire in a private house. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred the night before, on April 7, on Linnaya Street. A one-story brick house caught fire.

"The fire damaged household items on an area of 40 square meters. m. The body of a 67-year—old woman was found inside the house," the report says.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, 17 people and four pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The preliminary cause of the fire is a short circuit in the electrical wiring.

On April 2, a fire broke out in a private house in the city of Zaozerny, Krasnoyarsk Territory. As a result, two adult men and a 12-year-old boy were killed. The UK has opened a criminal case.
