Sobyanin spoke about the large-scale landscaping in the capital

As part of the city's beautification program, it is planned to renovate more than 700 streets in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.
"This is the second stage of our Moscow development strategy until 2040. In total, we plan to comprehensively improve more than 3,000 streets outside the historical center," said the mayor.
Special attention will be paid to three outbound highways: Trade Union Street, Volgogradsky Prospekt and Shchelkovsky Highway. Work is also planned on Novoryazanskoe and Ostashkovsky highways, Butyrskaya and Dubninskaya streets.
Improvement works on Mantulinskaya Street are planned in Presnensky district. A tram line will be built on Akademika Sakharova Avenue, and a third tramway will be built next to the main entrance of VDNH.
Most of the work will take place outside the city center.
Last year, 667 streets and 10 large facilities in the city center were already renovated in Moscow, including Kadashevskaya Embankment, the alleys near Tsvetnoy Boulevard, Komsomolsky Prospekt, the territories near the main building of Moscow State University, and the Yauza embankments. A new tram line was also laid and comprehensive landscaping was carried out on Sergiy Radonezhsky Street and Rogozhskaya Zastava Square.
