Russian athletes won four medals in trampoline jumping

The Russian national trampoline team performed in the Italian city of Riccione and won four medals at the AERE WORLD CUP 2025. This was reported on April 8 in the official Telegram channel "Trampolining of Russia".
The competition was held on April 5-6. Sofia Aliyeva won silver in individual jumps, Kirill Kozlov won bronze. Mikhail Zalomin won the silver medal in double springboard, and Galina Begim won the bronze medal.
"Overall, I'm happy with the result. There was probably too much excitement, I couldn't handle it a bit. But, on the whole, I am satisfied with the result. The organization is good. I have been entering the international arena for quite some time, and it was, of course, a pleasant expectation to return to this atmosphere. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time, and everyone greeted me as comfortably and pleasantly as possible, saying that you were finally back. And there was no negative reaction from foreigners at all," athlete Mikhail Zalomin told Izvestia.
In addition, the athletes noted the support from the Russians.
"Actually, I wasn't happy after the final performance, it was just a work moment. <...> The next day, I realized that I had completed the tasks, and this joy came," athlete Kirill Kozlov told Izvestia.
Earlier, on April 5, Russian gymnasts who received neutral status refused to perform at international tournaments. The reason was the numerous unjustified and biased refusals by the FIG special committee to allow Russian athletes to compete.
