Hackers attacked the account of Czech Prime Minister Fiala on the social network X


The account of Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala on the social network X (formerly Twitter) was attacked by hackers who published a number of fake posts, including about the Russian army. This was reported on April 8 by Ceske Noviny agency with reference to the press secretary of the head of government, Luciya Yeshatkova.
"The account of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the ODS (Civic Democratic Party. Peter Fiala was attacked in X, and fake messages appeared on him this morning," the article says.
One of the posts reported an alleged attack by the Russian army on "Czech units near the border with Kaliningrad." A representative of the Czech government stressed that this was not true. In two other posts, hackers posted information in Czech and English about Prague's preparation of sanctions in response to new US duties.
The local police have launched an investigation into the attack on Fiala's account. Criminal investigators intend to find out how the attacker managed to circumvent the security system.
On February 5, an 18-year-old hacker was detained in the Spanish city of Alicante, who is involved in more than 40 cyber attacks on NATO and US Army databases. It was clarified that the attacked companies include the Spanish Civil Guard, the State Employment Service, the Ministry of Defense, NATO and the American army, as well as Spanish universities, the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports and other international organizations.
