"In preparation for the 160th anniversary of the founding of the educational institution, where the world's greatest musicians studied, we invited artists of different generations to perform in subscription concerts. These are our venerable professors, recent graduates who have already achieved impressive success, and young performers who are just beginning to gain public recognition. They all share one crucial quality – talent. The connecting thread between teachers and students has never been broken, and for the Moscow Conservatory, the ideas of continuity, loyalty to traditions, and reliance on spiritual and moral values have always been in the first place," emphasizes the rector of the Conservatory, Professor Alexander Sokolov.
Young violinists from the world-famous Eduard Grach School, which celebrates its 95th anniversary this year, are waiting to meet with listeners in the chamber halls of the Moscow Conservatory. An original roll call of the epochs will appear in the "Double Portraits" subscription, where old and new art will combine according to the principle of contrast – Palestrina and Shelsi, Mozart and Pärt, Couperin and Reich, Dowland and Berio. The 340th anniversary of J.S. Bach's birth will be celebrated in a number of organ programs and in Alexander Knyazev's personal subscription "Musical Bible", where the artist will perform as a cellist, organist and pianist. In the Dedication subscription, the Chamber Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory and Felix Korobov will remember the great professors of the 20th century – Tatiana Gaidamovich, Rafael Davidyan, Andrey Shishlov, Marina Yashvili, Galina Odinets.
A large range of subscriptions has been prepared for young listeners, for a family audience – "Magical sounds of fairy tales", "In the land of musical instruments", etc.
Vocal art, jazz, Baroque, folklore, modern music – all styles and genres are covered in the 38th anniversary season tickets 2025/2026.
