The new Petrovsko-Razumovskaya railway station on MCD-1 will become the largest hub in the north of Moscow, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The station will open this year. It "will improve transport accessibility for residents of Butyrsky district, Timiryazevsky and Marfino — that's almost 200 thousand people," the mayor said.

The facility is currently 78% ready. Construction is on schedule. Currently, specialists are installing engineering systems, finishing the premises, installing a glass facade with an area of almost 5,000 square meters and commissioning elevators and escalators.

Petrovsko-Razumovskaya railway station will provide a transfer between the first and third diameters, two metro lines and ground transportation. In the future, the MCD-3 stop will be moved closer to the metro and MCD-1, and the transfer time between all modes of transport will be reduced several times. By 2030, up to 11 thousand passengers will be able to use the Petrovsko-Razumovskaya MCD-1 railway station daily.
