"According to the investigation, on April 7, 2025, in one of the schools in the city of Novy Urengoy, a student stabbed a security guard at an educational institution with a folding knife when he was trying to stop a minor's conflict with another student," the department's Telegram channel says.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a cut wound on his cheek.
After the attack, a criminal case was opened under Article 293 of the Criminal Code ("Negligence") and Article 238 of the Criminal Code ("Performing services that do not meet safety requirements"). The circumstances of the incident are being established.
On January 10, in the Moskovsky district of St. Petersburg, a first-grader attacked a child during a lesson and tried to strangle him. The victim was diagnosed with a soft tissue contusion, and his mother filed a police report. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the staff of the Juvenile Affairs Unit (PD).
