A tow truck robot helps the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) to take fighters out from under fire in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). On April 8, Izvestia showed footage of the device's operation.

It is specified that this technique is capable of both evacuating wounded soldiers from under fire, and stealthily approaching the enemy. The innovative device was created by Deputy battalion commander Ivan Kotozhegov.

"When an evacuation takes place, I always dreamed that there would be a tow truck robot that could take a person away," he said.

According to him, the development has high speed and is able to catch up with a running person. Military personnel have already become accustomed to using drones in the special operation zone, and now they are beginning to master new technologies in the form of tow truck robots.

On April 5, the Ministry of Defense showed footage of the military personnel of the First Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Slavic Brigade of the Center group of Forces using remotely controlled platforms in the Red Army area of the military training area.
