The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with a manned spacecraft launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome

The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-27 manned transport spacecraft launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome on Tuesday morning, April 8.

The spacecraft will carry participants of the 73rd main expedition to the International Space Station (ISS). It consisted of Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexey Zubritsky and astronaut Jonathan Kim of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States (NASA).
