A 10-year-old child died in an accident in Buryatia.

A 10-year-old child was killed in a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Buryatia. This was announced on April 8 by the regional prosecutor's office.

"It was previously established that on April 7 at about 21:00 (16:00 Moscow time. — Ed.) on a stretch of road near the village of Kalinishna, Kyakhta district, the driver of a Toyota Mark II car collided with a parked Ural motorcycle, the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the driver of the car was hospitalized in a medical facility. During the supervisory measures, the prosecutor's office will assess compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of road safety.

On April 1, it became known that in Arkhangelsk, the driver of a Haval car hit a mother with a 10-month-old baby in a stroller. It was clarified that when turning left, the driver did not give way to a woman with a baby carriage crossing the roadway at a pedestrian crossing.
