On April 8, tourists who visited the Baikonur cosmodrome greeted the crew members of the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft, which includes Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexey Zubritsky and an astronaut from NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States) before launch Jonathan Kim, and greeted them with the song "Grass at Home."

"All tourists sing along and greet the astronauts. This is their only opportunity to see the crew so closely before the launch," said Roman Polshakov, a correspondent for Izvestia.

He clarified that the cosmonauts were met at the moment when they were walking along the road from the hotel to the bus. The length of their journey was only 70 m. As can be seen in the footage, crowds of tourists lined up on both sides of the barrier along the way, who joyfully greeted the astronauts and sang in unison for them.

On April 5, Roscosmos reported that the Victory Rocket (Soyuz 2.1a) from Soyuz MS-27 was installed on the launch pad at Baikonur. The rocket launch will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
