Rapper Sagrada told about the first music video created by AI in Russia

The first video clip has been released in Russia, which was completely created using artificial intelligence (AI). Rapper Sagrada and his band Salt of the Earth have taken a new approach, entrusting neural networks with the most important task — the visualization of their song "On the orders of Sharp Visors."

According to Sagrada, he himself was involved in only a few processes to create the clip, the rest of the work was done by other people. At the same time, the rapper notes that the goal of their team was to create a beautiful visualization, not a separate artistic statement.

"We did not set out to make a separate artistic statement from our video clip. Everything is in the song and in what this song refers to. We just had to visualize our song beautifully," he said.

According to Sagrada, artificial intelligence can now solve those tasks that do not meet the goal of making a "separate artistic statement."

"Artificial intelligence is controlled by operators anyway. The whole question is what tasks the artists themselves set for themselves. Now, unfortunately, the time has long passed when the video clip itself had value as an artistic statement," Sagrada shared.

The release of the video for the song "By order of the Sharp Visors" became a significant event not only in the music field. Critics, in turn, also note the increasing influence of artificial intelligence in the world of creativity.

The title of the song "By order of the Sharp Visors" refers to the popular TV series "Sharp Visors". As the authors noted, this is the first music video in Russia that did not use directors, cameramen, or artists to create.
