On April 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen committed in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

The ministry noted the actions of Private Andrei Krasnov, who, acting as part of the crew of a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) combat vehicle, was tasked with advancing into the area of the alleged enemy offensive.

The Russian military quickly took up positions and after the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) went on the offensive, they began to defeat the enemy. The private aimed the MLRS and fired several volleys. As a result of his precise actions, the equipment and most of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit. Thanks to this, the Russian Armed Forces soldiers managed to repel the attack of the Ukrainian militants and force them to retreat.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation drew attention to the actions of the guard of Private Denis Proskokov, who carried out the task of transporting ammunition to the areas of the Russian Armed Forces in order to provide uninterrupted supply to artillery units.

At night, he moved through difficult terrain with his headlights off in order to ensure timely delivery of cargo to the positions. After Proskokov arrived at the specified location and began unloading the car, he was attacked by a Ukrainian FPV drone.

The Guard soldier got his bearings on the ground, took up a firing position and hit an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a standard weapon, thereby preserving the cargo intact. Thanks to his courageous actions, the ammunition was delivered on time and the units of the Russian Armed Forces were able to complete all the tasks assigned.
