An attacker attacked a traffic police officer in Chechnya with a knife

In the city of Achkhoy-Martan, the Chechen Republic, an unknown assaulted an employee of the traffic patrol service (DPS) with a knife. This was announced on April 7 by a source of Izvestia.

He clarified that the attacker attacked a traffic police post in the city center. The attacker was eliminated, the source said. A traffic police officer was stabbed. Information about his condition is being updated.

On March 14, a man was detained in Moscow who attacked a metro employee with an object similar to a knife. The attacker has been detained. A criminal case has been opened under Articles 116 ("Beatings") and 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Threat of murder"), and a preventive measure has been imposed on him in the form of a written undertaking not to leave.
