Electric scooters helped fighters of the Center group of forces to liberate the settlement of Uspenovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). On April 7, a correspondent of Izvestia told the details.

Uspenovka is a small village south of Pokrovsk. The city was defended by the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants. The Ukrainian fighters used such new technologies as drones, "zhduns". These drones were in ambush and rose into the air when soldiers approached.

They have "waiting men" sitting under every bush. They work through a motion sensor. The people passed elementary, noticed the motion sensor, they immediately get up and start attacking," said company commander, soldier of the Russian Armed Forces David Khachaturian.

In turn, Russian military personnel launched fighter drones. They also used a strategy in which early in the morning they threw soldiers inside the village on motorcycles and electric scooters.

"They started scooters because they are a silent means of transportation. On a motorcycle, you may not hear the approach of an FPV drone, a mavic, and so on. And it's a silent scooter," said Daba Badmazhapov, battalion commander, a soldier of the Russian Armed Forces.

In groups of three scooters, Russian soldiers stormed the key fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, Uspenovka was completely brought under control. The Russian Defense Ministry announced her release on April 4.

On April 7, it became known about the liberation of the village of Katerinovka in the DPR. It is specified that the Ukrainian army lost up to 215 militants, three artillery pieces, an electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot.
