In St. Petersburg, cladding from the roof of a kindergarten fell on a seven-year-old child. This was announced on April 7 by the Main investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region in the Telegram channel.
"A seven-year-old kindergarten student, located on the eighth line of Vasilyevsky Island, had part of the cladding fall from the roof. The boy was taken to a children's hospital in serious condition, where he is being treated," the message says.
It clarifies that a criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements"). At the moment, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
Earlier, on March 21, it became known that in Barnaul, a piece of ice fell from the roof onto an eight-year-old girl. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated by investigators. They identify an employee of the management company, whose duties include issues related to the proper maintenance of the roof of the house, the department added.
