Among insured children under five years of age, the largest number of referrals are for diseases such as: 56.76% — acute respiratory viral infections, influenza, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, sinusitis; 16.22% — diseases of the gastrointestinal tract; 13.52% - injuries, including an open wound, fracture, dislocation, rupture bundles.

This group has significantly more otitis media due to a longer stay and diving in pools without parental supervision. The increased number of 9.43% of skin diseases and 14.15% of injuries is also due to the fact that this group is more independent, and therefore at a higher risk for unforeseen situations," the experts explained.

In adolescents and young people under 25 years of age, gastrointestinal diseases (27.4%) come first, as nutrition is not controlled by parents.

"Acute respiratory viral infections (21.92%) are less "popular" due to their increasing immunity compared to toddlers and children. Injuries (13.7%) are becoming more serious and, consequently, more expensive," the study says.
