Nikolai Tsiskaridze, People's Artist of Russia, rector of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, admitted in a conversation with Izvestia that he considers Alexander Ovechkin's record an achievement of historical scale.

I am proud that 50 years after the super series of matches between the national teams of the USSR and Canada, which proved that our country has world-class players, our player became the best scorer in the history of the league.
