Residents of Tula were warned about a possible fall of ice from the TV tower

In Tula, ice may collapse from a television mast as a result of temperature fluctuations. The residents and guests of the city were warned about this by employees of the RTRS Tula ORTPC branch. The structures of the high-rise buildings of the television center may pose a threat to security.

Residents and motorists were advised to refrain from moving along Skuratovskaya Street in the area of the TV tower. In case of emergency, it is better to use the odd side of the street, where a safety net is installed, TSN24 writes.

Earlier, the Tula Hydrometeorology Center predicted sleet, ice and strong winds with gusts up to 10 m/s from 21:00 on April 7 to 21:00 on April 8. The temperature will fluctuate from positive to negative values. This can complicate the traffic situation.

Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, said that the warm weather will return to Moscow next week, and on April 15 and 16, the air temperature will rise significantly. The snow will gradually start to melt due to the above-zero temperature.
