The crews of the Su-25 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) launched missile air strikes on the temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region. On April 7, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of fighter aircraft combat operations.

According to the agency, the missile launches were carried out in pairs at low altitudes, skirting the terrain. The attack took place in conditions of electronic warfare by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"We have completed the exit to the target. They launched an attack using unguided C-13 missiles. We performed an anti—missile maneuver with the firing of heat traps, anti-missile maneuvering and a flight on the return route at extremely low altitudes to the home airfield," said Su-25 pilot Grigory.

As confirmed by the advanced aviation gunner, all the missiles hit the target.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that an army aviation crew on a Mi-35M helicopter destroyed manpower and a stronghold of the Armed Forces units in the border area of the Kursk region. During the course of the combat mission to support the units of the North group, the pilots launched missiles at the coordinates of the aircraft gunner and destroyed the stronghold and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
