Mishustin invited Belarus to take part in the Intervision

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Turchin on April 7, invited Belarus to participate in the international music competition Intervision.
"In the field of culture, the Intervision International music Competition will be held in Moscow this year. Of course, we invite our Belarusian friends to take part in it," Mishustin said.
In addition, speaking about humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, Mishustin noted that in May Russia and Belarus will celebrate a common holy holiday — the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Earlier, on February 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on holding an international music competition in Moscow and the Moscow Region. According to the document, Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, was appointed chairman of the organizing committee of the competition, and Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, took the role of head of the supervisory board.
Mikhail Shvydkoi, Special Representative of the President of Russia for International Cultural Cooperation, said on February 11 that representatives from over 20 countries would take part in the Intervision contest. It is planned to be held in September 2025.
