- The Kursk region assessed the scale of work on the restoration of liberated villages

The authorities of the Kursk region have a lot of work to do to restore the border settlements liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on April 7 by the acting head of the region, Alexander Khinshtein, following a trip to the villages of Malaya Loknya and Pogrebki in the Sudzhansky district.
"The work on clearing the territory and restoring the infrastructure will be enormous, but we will dismantle the rubble, rebuild and restore houses, temples, schools, hospitals," he said in his Telegram channel.
He stressed that all settlements will be checked by sappers and cleared of mines. After that, according to Khinstein, the authorities will begin restoration work.
The acting governor added that a monument will be erected in Malaya Lokna to the Russian soldiers who held a circular defense and prevented the Ukrainian Armed Forces from advancing to the Kursk NPP.
On April 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to develop a program for the restoration of infrastructure facilities in the Kursk region by July 1. Putin also called for a monthly payment of 65,000 rubles by April 10 for citizens who have lost their homes and other property as a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the region.
Earlier, on March 13, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the government would allocate 2.5 billion rubles to the Kursk region to support the affected industrial enterprises. According to him, this decision will speed up the resumption of production in the border areas and ensure compliance with social guarantees for citizens.
