Alcohol sales time will be reduced in the Trans-Baikal Territory

The authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory intend to reduce the allowed time for alcohol sales. The relevant amendments to the legislation will be introduced at the next session of the Legislative Assembly.
According to the ChitaMedia news agency, it is now forbidden to sell alcohol from 23:00 to 10:00. If the amendments are adopted, the restriction will be in effect from 21:00 to 12:00: said Natalia Shcherbina, Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government.
In March, deputies approved additional amendments to the law on the turnover of alcohol-containing products. Now local authorities will be able to independently determine in which territories and at what time it will be prohibited to sell alcohol during holidays and mass events. Previously, restrictions on the sale of alcohol were in effect only near the venue of the event, alcohol was sold freely in the rest of the village.
