Illegal migrants detained at construction sites in Lipetsk

Illegal migrants were found at several construction sites in Lipetsk. The violators were detained during preventive raids. They were conducted by police and Rosgvardiya officers.

GOROD48, referring to the information and public relations department of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, writes that the foreigners were taken to the migration offices. Further verification awaits them there. Administrative protocols have already been drawn up against the violators.

For illegally staying in Russia, foreigners face a fine of up to 5,000 rubles and administrative expulsion from the country. The employer will also be punished for illegally employing foreign workers.

Earlier, on April 7, it was reported that in Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, police officers collected 21 materials on the fact of illegal recruitment of foreigners to work. Police officers revealed the facts of violations at enterprises engaged in the processing of timber products.
