Anna Semenovich appreciated Ovechkin's athletic talent

Actress and singer Anna Semenovich, in an interview with Izvestia on April 7, praised the athletic talent of Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals hockey club, who broke Wayne Gretzky's record for goals in the regular seasons of the National Hockey League (NHL).

"He's a very talented athlete, and we're all rooting for him to score a lot more goals," Semenovich said.

She called Ovechkin a good, responsive and kind person, noting that the athlete is always ready to help his loved ones, and also treats women with respect.

Ovechkin scored his 895th goal in the NHL regular season a day earlier in a match against the New York Islanders. In doing so, he broke Gretzky's record of 894 goals scored.

On the same day, Ovechkin was congratulated on the record by the TV channels of the National Media Group (NMG) and the leader of the musical group "Hands Up!" Sergey Zhukov congratulated Ovechkin. The performer dedicated a video clip to a hockey player's favorite song from the repertoire of a musical group with a modified text dedicated to a record goal.
