- The II International Festival of adaptive sports "Impulse" was held in Chelyabinsk

This significant event brought together more than 1,000 participants with disabilities, among whom there were 350 participants in a special military operation who were injured. The festival was attended by representatives of more than 40 regions of Russia, as well as athletes from other countries.
Representatives of Italy, India, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and China came to get acquainted with the program and take part in the III International Festival "Impulse", which will be held in 2026. Next year, the number of participants will increase to more than 3,000 people from more than 30 countries around the world. The festival will feature more than 30 sports that are accessible to people with disabilities. Among them are water, ice and air sports.
This significant event proved once again that sport knows no borders. It brought together athletes with disabilities from all over the world on one sports ground, demonstrating that there are no barriers to doing what they love.
The festival was held at three sports venues at once and covered 6 full-fledged venues, creating a variety of sports disciplines and opportunities for participants. The festival featured 23 types of adaptive and inclusive sports, including adaptive arm wrestling; adaptive judo; adaptive sambo; adaptive taekwondo; adaptive sitting volleyball; adaptive soccer; adaptive archery (sitting/standing) boccia; bocce; board games; table tennis; para-karate; checkers; chess; cheer sports and many other disciplines, as well as the All-Russian testing of adaptive TRP standards took place within the framework of the festival.
The participants competed for more than 450 sets of awards, demonstrating not only a high level of physical fitness, but also incredible fortitude, team excitement and real sports enthusiasm. Each performance was filled with an atmosphere of inspiration and motivation, emphasizing the importance of inclusion and support for athletes with disabilities.
The festival is held within the framework of the state program "Development of physical culture and Sports".
The Impulse Festival is becoming an important platform for sharing experiences and strengthening international ties in the field of adaptive sports. Participants from other countries were able not only to demonstrate their skills, but also to discuss joint initiatives to promote sports inclusion, thereby contributing to the development of the integration of people with disabilities into various spheres of life.
