The Uzbek Foreign Ministry confirmed Mirziyoyev's visit to Moscow on May 9.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will arrive in Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Victory on May 9. Information about his visit was confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic in a comment to Izvestia on April 7.
"Yes, we confirm," the ministry said, answering a question about Mirziyoyev's possible participation in Victory Day commemorations in Moscow.
Earlier in the day, his press secretary Sherzod Asadov announced the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Russia on May 9. According to him, this trip was discussed at Mirziyoyev's meeting with Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.
On April 3, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that President of Burkina Faso Ibrahim Traore had accepted an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to Moscow to celebrate Victory Day. He noted that in recent years, the interaction between the two countries has acquired a new "powerful dimension", and the leaders of the states maintain regular contact.
On March 29, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva also confirmed that he plans to come to Moscow to celebrate Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. He also noted that he plans to hold talks with Putin during his visit.
