The main theme of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum – 2025 has been determined

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will be held this year from June 18 to 21, is one of the world's main platforms for shaping the global agenda. The main topic of the Forum in 2025 will be "Shared values – the basis for growth in a multipolar world."

The main theme of the event reflects profound changes in the system of international cooperation. Modern economic and political processes are rapidly changing the global landscape. A new system of international relations is being formed, based on the principles of sovereignty, equal partnership and consideration of national interests. The outdated neocolonial model of the world order is being replaced by a new system of economic and political relations based on the principle of multipolarity – free and equal interaction between states. Values such as sovereignty, respect for national identity, consideration of the interests of all participants in global development, and mutually beneficial partnership play a key role in this process. These changes require extensive expert discussion, and the SPIEF, as the largest business platform, provides a space for open dialogue.

This requires not only new approaches to the global economy, but also the creation of interaction mechanisms based on trust, mutual benefit and transparency.
