More than a million people took part in the "Total Dictation — 2025"

1 million 329 thousand 47 people took part in the "Total Dictation — 2025". This was stated by Vyacheslav Belyakov, Director of the Total Dictation Foundation, on April 7 at the Izvestia press center during the press conference "Total Dictation - 2025: the results of the campaign."

"According to tradition, total dictation took place all over the world, all continents were covered by Total Dictation. Across the world, 57 countries joined, with a total of 107 foreign cities participating. There were participants from 112 countries online," Belyakov said.

The educational campaign "Total Dictation" will be held in early April.

According to him, the largest number of participants in Russia was in Moscow, the second largest city is St. Petersburg.

In total, more people took part in the "Total Dictation — 2025" than last year — 1 million 329 thousand 47 people.

Earlier, on April 5, it was reported that the theme of the "Total Dictation – 2025" was a sea trip to the Arctic called "In search of the miraculous."
