The State Commission has approved the composition of the main and reserve crews of the Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft. This was announced on April 7 by the Roscosmos State Corporation.

The main crew included Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky, as well as astronaut Jonathan Kim of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, Sergey Mikaev and Christopher Williams became reserve crew members.

"We will take off on April 8 at 08:47:15 Moscow time," the state corporation's Telegram channel says.

On April 5, Roscosmos reported that the Victory Rocket (Soyuz 2.1a) from Soyuz MS-27 was installed on the launch pad at Baikonur. The rocket launch will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
