Military groups of troops "Center" told about the liberation of Uspenovka in the DPR

The military personnel of the Center group of forces of the Russian Army liberated the settlement of Uspenovka from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Izvestia correspondent Stanislav Grigoriev learned about the details of the military operation on April 7.

The battles for the village were fought for several days. The settlement is located south of the city of Pokrovsk, which the Russian Armed Forces are gradually encircling and encircling.

During the liberation of Uspenovka, one of the most serious dangers for Russian fighters became unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which hide in ambush, but immediately take to the air when the Russian army approaches. They were nicknamed "zhduns" among the military.

"They're sitting, waiting everywhere, they're sitting under every bush. <...> They work through a motion sensor. The people passed elementary, [they] were noticed by a motion sensor, and immediately [the drones] rise up and start attacking," said company commander David Khachaturian.

When such a drone was detected, the fighters immediately dispersed their forces and lifted their own fighter drones into the air.

Rather non-standard approaches also helped to take Uspenovka. So, early in the morning, unbeknownst to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the personnel were thrown inside the village on motorcycles and electric scooters.

"They started scooters because a scooter is a silent means of transportation. On a motorcycle, you may not hear the approach of an FPV drone, a mavic, and so on. And the scooter is silent," explained battalion commander Badmazhapov Daba.

The fighters worked in groups of three. They rode scooters along a flat asphalt road and, after arriving at the site, began storming key positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village.

At the same time, motorcycle units mined the road on the other side of Uspenovka. The fighters had practiced similar maneuvers earlier at the training ground.
