In the city of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, police officers collected 21 materials on the fact of illegal recruitment of foreigners to work. This was announced on Monday, March 7, by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the region.

"Police officers revealed the facts of violations at enterprises engaged in the processing of forest products," the press service of the department clarified in its Telegram channel.

During the inspection, it was established that 15 Uzbek citizens who arrived in Russia at the end of February worked at one of the enterprises. According to the Krasnoyarsk Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, they did not fully register for migration registration — they did not pass a medical examination, an exam in the Russian language and did not receive a patent.

Thus, the employer violated the requirements of the law. 15 administrative protocols have been drawn up against him under Article 18.15 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal employment of a foreign citizen in the Russian Federation"), and the materials have been submitted to the court.

Now the violator faces a fine in the amount of 250 to 800 thousand rubles for each illegal worker.

In addition, six foreigners were found at another enterprise who worked on sawing wood on commercial visas that did not grant the right to work.

At the same time, it is noted that the employer was aware that migrants had permission only for business purposes of entry. The collected materials for its violations will soon be sent to court.

The identified foreign workers were brought to administrative responsibility for illegal labor activity, the agency concluded.

Earlier, on April 2, Irina Volk, an official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, reported that two women suspected of organizing illegal residence in the Irkutsk region of more than 230 foreign citizens were detained in the Irkutsk region through the joint efforts of the Interior Ministry and the FSB.
