The Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, Mikhail Mishustin and Alexander Turchin— will hold joint talks on April 7. This was announced by the Russian Government in the Telegram channel.

"The heads of government will discuss topical issues of Russian-Belarusian trade and economic cooperation, as well as integration cooperation in the Union State," the statement said on the night of April 7.

It is specified that special attention at the upcoming meeting will be paid to the implementation of joint projects in the field of industry and energy, including the field of peaceful atom.

The premiers will also discuss transport infrastructure and the digital economy.

On March 23, Belarus and Russia will appoint special representatives to monitor the implementation of the treaty on security guarantees within the framework of the Union State. According to Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, it is assumed that the special representatives will monitor the implementation of the provisions. The special Representatives will develop "some proposals, if necessary, in the development of the implementation of strategic planning documents."

Earlier, on March 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation. During the contact, the Russian leader shared his assessments of the ongoing Russian-American dialogue at various levels.
