The Foreign Ministers of Israel and the UAE met in Abu Dhabi.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, April 6.
"Sheikh Abdullah welcomed Saar and discussed the developing bilateral relations between the two countries. The meeting also discussed the latest regional developments and their consequences, in particular the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip," the WAM news agency said.
The sides discussed regional and international efforts to renew the truce agreement, achieve a cease-fire and release the hostages.
The Foreign Minister of the Arab country confirmed the UAE's support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at protecting civilians and strengthening the response to the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
"He reaffirmed the UAE's long—standing fraternal and historical position in support of the Palestinian people, underlining the country's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination," the agency writes.
On April 5, Al Jazeera TV channel reported 34 deaths per day in Gaza from Israeli attacks. A day earlier, the UN accused Israel of killing 15 doctors and rescue workers in Gaza. It is specified that the dead medical workers were subsequently buried in a mass grave in southern Gaza. At the same time, the body of one of the doctors was found with his hands tied.
The IDF resumed military operations against the Palestinian movement in Gaza on March 18. The press service of the Gaza Ministry of Health reported on March 28 that since then, more than 890 people have been killed and more than 1,980 injured as a result of renewed attacks on the Palestinian enclave.
