The IDF reported retaliatory strikes on rocket launchers in the Gaza Strip

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Sunday, April 6, said it had attacked rocket launchers in the Gaza Strip, from which the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement, the Al—Qassam brigades, had previously fired at the Israeli city of Ashdod.
"The IDF attacked a rocket launcher in the Gaza Strip, from which shells were fired towards Israeli territory today," the army's Telegram channel said.
They added that the IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the Israeli civilian population.
Earlier in the day, the IDF reported the successful interception of most of the rockets fired from Gaza. The shells were fired shortly after the siren sounded at about 21:00 Moscow time.
On April 3, Al Jazeera reported that at least 25 people were killed in an attack by the Israel Defense Forces on a school in Gaza that had become a shelter. About 100 more Palestinians were injured.
The IDF resumed military operations against the Palestinian movement in Gaza on March 18. The press service of the Gaza Ministry of Health reported on March 28 that since then, more than 890 people have been killed and more than 1,980 injured as a result of renewed attacks on the Palestinian enclave.
