Britain warned Ukraine about a possible ultimatum from Trump

In the future, US President Donald Trump may present Ukraine with a choice between accepting peace on Moscow's terms or completely depriving Kiev of Washington's support. The British newspaper The Daily Telegraph (DT) wrote about this on Saturday, April 6.
"Ukraine will face an ultimatum: either sign a peace agreement brokered by Trump and dictated by [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, or permanently lose US intelligence and logistical support," the publication says.
In addition, the publication called the visit of Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), to Washington, a "diplomatic coup". In this, the authors of the material found some symbolism against the background of the altercation between Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the White House.
According to the newspaper, Trump views Ukraine as a US-controlled "subsidiary."
On April 3, Dmitriev met with the special envoy of the President of the United States, Steve Witkoff, in Washington. He became the first representative of the Russian government to visit the United States on an official visit after the start of the special operation in 2022.
On April 4, the US president said that the Russian president and the head of Ukraine were ready to conclude a deal within the framework of a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
