The IDF reported the successful interception of most of the rockets fired from Gaza.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Sunday, April 6, reported the successful interception of most rockets fired from the Gaza Strip.
"After the siren sounded at 21.01-21.02 [Moscow time] in the Lahish area, about ten shells were found crossing Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip. Most of them were successfully intercepted," the army's Telegram channel said.
The military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement, the Al-Qassam brigades, previously reported on the shelling of the Israeli city of Ashdod.
On April 3, Al Jazeera reported that at least 25 people were killed in an attack by the Israel Defense Forces on a school in Gaza that had become a shelter. About 100 more Palestinians were injured.
The IDF resumed military operations against the Palestinian movement in Gaza on March 18. The press service of the Gaza Ministry of Health reported on March 28 that since then, more than 890 people have been killed and more than 1,980 injured as a result of renewed attacks on the Palestinian enclave.
