Spartak defeated Rostov in the match of the 23rd round of the Russian Premier League

Spartak Moscow beat Rostov in the 23rd round of the Russian Football Championship. The match was held at the Rostov Arena on April 6 and ended with a score of 3:0.
Rostov spent the second half of the game in the minority — forward Alexey Sutormin received a red card for a rough tackle in the 4th extra minute of the first half.
Midfielders Nail Umyarov, Christopher Martins and Ezequiel Barco scored goals for the winners.
As a result of the victory over Rostov, Spartak took second place in the Russian Premier League (RPL) standings with 47 points, displacing Zenit St. Petersburg to third place.
Earlier, on March 16, Spartak players won against St. Petersburg for the first time since November 2017 in the match of the 21st round of the Russian Premier League with a score of 2:1. Luxembourg midfielder Christopher Martins scored a double for the team in the 47th and 90th minutes. Midfielder Luis Enrique scored for the visitors in the 84th minute.
