Lectures on technological art were held at the Art Russia Fair

The final day of the Art Russia Contemporary Art Fair is taking place in Moscow's Gostiny Dvor on April 6. As part of the exhibition program, experts told visitors about the role of technology in modern artistic practices. The footage is at the disposal of Izvestia.
In particular, the head of the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (MISIS) program of the same name delivered a lecture on technological art Ekaterina Belyaeva. She touched upon the use of neural networks and robots in artistic activities.
Next, the technical director of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the School of Design of the Higher School of Economics spoke about the creative possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI). In his lecture, the specialist discussed the potential of neural networks as assistants, collaborators, and even competitors in the artistic field.
In addition, the topic of art collecting was also discussed at the forum within the framework of the exhibition. So, the creator of the author's program for the development of an international artist's career, art consultant Valentina Robino, told the guests about the aspects that should be paid attention to when buying art treasures.
More than 200 galleries and artists from all over the world presented their paintings at the Art Russia exhibition. Both young talents and recognized masters, including Vladimir Volk, were exhibited at the fair. His work was presented by his daughter, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.
This year's special theme was "Cultural Diplomacy". Pavilions of artists from Latin America and the Middle East were created at the exhibition, and the Persian section was presented for the first time.
