One person died in a rescue helicopter crash in Japan.

A rescue helicopter crashed over the Sea of Japan near Tsushima Island, killing one of its passengers. This was reported on April 6 by the NHK TV channel.
Communication with the aircraft was lost at 13:43 (07:43 Moscow time), about an hour later the coast guard announced its disappearance. After 17:00 (11:00 Moscow time), the helicopter was found overturned in the water.
There were six people on board. The victim was 86 years old, and a helicopter was taking her from Tsushima to Fukuoka for medical treatment. The 68-year-old relative of the woman, as well as the doctor, are in a state of clinical death. The remaining passengers were hospitalized conscious.
Earlier in the day, a helicopter extinguishing forest fires crashed in South Korea. The aircraft crashed into a mountain in the northwestern region of Daegu, killing the pilot.
