Four foci of landscape fires in Dagestan have been eliminated

Four foci of landscape fires in the Akushinsky and Levashinsky districts of Dagestan have been eliminated. This was announced on April 6 by the press service of the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.
"At the moment, four foci have been eliminated. Counter—annealing was carried out at one of the sites," the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that 123 people are involved in extinguishing the fire. The difficulty lies in the inaccessibility to fire, which excludes the use of specialized equipment.
On March 15, a fire started in the Akhtyn district of the Republic of Dagestan on a mountainside located 2 km from the village of Khryug. The elimination of fire is complicated due to the specifics of the area and the lack of access to specialized equipment. Later it was reported that the cause of the landscape fire in the Akhtyn district could be human error.
On March 18, it became known that the area through which the fire of a natural fire passed was 22 hectares.
